Congratulations to the Newark Public Library for being awarded a Collection Development Grant from the Tocker Foundation!
In August 2020, the Newark Public Library was awarded a collection development grant to expand three areas of our collection:
- Adult Non-fiction, specifically books on education, career, health, and parenting
- Young Adult Graphic Novels & Manga
- Juvenile Graphic Novels
Through this grant, we were able to purchase over 220 new books. Come by the Library today to check out this our collection!
